I hope chevrons are appreciated here because here's another approach to power-assisted-steering (when originality is not an issue): How it worksHow it's madeDevised and built by a fellow C35-owner here in NL it employs an electric rack from a Corsa and allows the steering to be feather-light at parking speeds and not assisted at all on the move. Might be handy for a racing-crab? And of course it's not at all expensive. (translation on request)

Might anyone know (of) a reliable freight-forwarder / shipping-agent in Australia willing to send parts (air or sea) from Queensland to Europ (The Netherlands)? Thanks for any tips!

Thanks for the tip. So far EBAY has yielded a few in New Zealand and Australia, but many say they will not send parts out of the country. Is this commonplace? Fiscal reasons?

G'day! Anyone in Australia or New Zealand know their way around the world of Holden? Perhaps you know a specialist and / or a good source of parts? My brother is looking for some components for a 2002 Statesman WH. Thanks for the tips!

For some reason I had never got around to registering for this splendid forum, so that's rectified at last. Like many, I have (too) many old cars and projects. BMC is represented by an 18/85 S (1971), a 3-litre (1970) and a Mini (1965). Looking forward to participating here, but I'm usually too busy with work and other stuff to be online very regularly (in other words, not very well organised!) so sorry about that

Hi all Would anyone have a bonnet badge with bezel for an Austin 3-litre? I don't think that this is the same on the 1800 (inclined bezel?) but someone can correct me if necessary. The condition of the badge part (paint and chrome) is not important, but the plastic should not be broken or cracked (so that I can tale a mould off it) and the bezel has to be OK, because I will be using that. Thanks for the offers and suggestions Greetings from Holland, Don
