So its your fault he(scratched) hit the gatepost for not checking the tyre pressures were correct! Kids Chris if I had done that to my dads car I think I would have been seeking asylum in Syria would have been safer.

You know me Chris only a bit of fun. The 800 has turned out to be a nice car with this being the sterling it is fully loaded & it all works, electric heated leather seats, electric sunroof, 4 electric windows. The 2.0 litre engine coupled to the 4 speed auto box can give modern cars a run for their money off the start line(Not that I have tried this you understand). In fact Mark Chivers commented the seats out of an 800 would look good in an 1800, I have to agree with him. I have become attached to the 800 so much so I haven,t rushed to get the new engine in my 1800, going to do the last couple of shows in the rover. The 1800 engine will get done this winter.

Hey Chris whats this lets pick on Strett time cos he turned up in a Rover 800 sterling? Ex ministerial car to the dodgy Tony Blair government. At least I turned up, even though my 1800 is in the sick bay with a suspect broken oil ring. I bought that car as a run around for the winter very cheap it was as well. It turns out to be a better car than I expected & drives perfect. I will be at Otley transport extravaganza this coming Sunday to show it off once more.

After speaking with the LOCI spares secretary he has some concerns regarding this car. It is a Lancashire registered car ( Blackpool) he has never heard or seen of he thinks going by the reg number it was registered in Jan 1970.It is an ex LOCI members car as it has the sticker in the front windscreen at the middle top. Who spends £1500 on a cars bodywork to sell it without an M.O.T.? It looks like its had a repaint the wrong/long coach line gives this away as does the absence of chrome whiskers. Hopefully it will go to someone who will look after it.

If you are wanting to fit genuine inertia belts in your Landcrab I suggest you give Ray House a ring he has original brand new Landcrab seat belts in their boxes. I purchased a set off him a couple of years back. Contact him on 07891888685 they were not that expensive either.

Nick, my advice is KEEP IT you know everything that is wrong with it & what needs doing to make it better. You will regret selling it mark my words. The drivers seat can be repaired easy enough, rest of the interior looks great.I mean you took second place at the National for best Wolseley what else do you want?

THE 3 LITRE CARS HAVE NO HOLES IN THE SPEEDO FOR THE TURN SIGNAL AS THEY HAVE A GREEN FLASHER ON THE END OF THE INDICATOR STALK. YOU WOULD HAVE TO WIRE A GREEN FLASH/TURN SIGNAL UP.
