You get one only, for the pulley end. You'd have to pick one up from a bearing place (or give me a shout as I've got lots for work related stuff and I'll throw one in the post for you. Or send the dynamo up here and we can do supplemental pics on how to do the P/S dynamo. Chris. Well that would be absolutely fantastic, PM sent..

Very useful Chris. Does the 6201ZR bearing come with the rebuild kit?

Welcome to the forum Salik, I enjoy reading your posts on the Landcrab Facebook page. It would be great to see some more pictures in the Your Cars section I'll see what I can find in the way of recommendations for mechanics.

Possibly, I've had this same problem on a Morris Minor, basically the dynamo makes a very loud rumbling noise and there is loads of play at the fan pulley. I've always just replaced them before but this one is unique to the PAS models and is £100 exchange from Earlpart, so...

That's true, although the autobox level hasn't gone down since I checked it last so we should be able to get away with a recon dynamo and rack - when funds allow! At the moment at least it's roadworthy.

Ah, right; I thought it was a lot lower. Hardly mega miles for a near 40 year old car... We found out today it was the dynamo that was making the rumbling noise, the PAS pump seems ok So a non-PAS Lucas C40 dynamo has been substituted for the time being.

I'll take the forum set-up every time - much easier to follow that the notice board type. Chris, P45. This is pretty much the reason. I just thought it would be be better to have one central "proper" forum, as the Google Groups seem a bit difficult to follow, and a bit on the quiet side. I thought people might be persuaded to contribute more to a traditional forum?

No I don't know him, sorry Keef. An Austin badge on a Morris? Or is that an Austin with a Morris grille?

I wonder if they were fitted to anything else? The MK1 Austin 1100 badge looks very similar.
Welcome to the forum anyway!

Welcome to the forum WKC. I know of someone in Tucson, Arizona who is restoring a Wolseley Six Limousine, but they are definitely very rare over there. The Austin America sounds interesting, is that the US-only version of our Austin 1300?
