They are definitely going up in value, although it is still possible to pick up a very tidy one for about £600 or so. I nearly bought a brown V reg one for £80 once! But my parents wouldn't let me

Yep that looks like the original logbook, buff books were discontinued in favour of green ones about 1968. If the date stamp next to that first dealership (Buckrose Motors Ltd Bridlington) coincides with the original date of registration, that's your supplying dealership! I love history like this.
Interesting about the replacement engine numbers, My Austin Cambridge has an "odd" number like that so I suspect it has a goldseal as well.

lovely looking wolseley! not sure if you've got the steering sorted out yet, but its worth giving these people a try www.kellybraysteering.co.uk/i got a recon rack for my wifes reliant scimitar off the shelf, and when i collected it they said they could re-con pretty much any rack and power steering pump too - they even had a power rack for an austin 3 litre on the shelf which i was tempted by. think they could help you out with both your rack and pump hope this helps! cheers rich Thanks for that Rich, should help a lot! Richard.

Gaffer tape on the wings, and is it just me or when people blank out registration plates on the internet it looks like they've got something to hide?
Looks like it could be a nice example with a bit of TLC.

6x5m should be a nice double! Enough room for Eugenie, and another classic? I hate having any of my cars sitting outside, luckily the Landcrab is under cover but the Maestro and Cambridge have to sit outside in all weathers I hate that.

Good to hear an update on the dynamo P - now I know why it was so noisy! It was still charging btw, enough to put the warning light out at least - the problem was the racket it was making! Amazing considering the state of it.
