I can't see a washer bottle either! I suspect the battery has been mounted in the boot - there's very little room for a battery with the standard B Series in there. That looks like a very tight fit.

Mine never shows above 25psi hot or cold, I tried changing the sender (the shiney thing in Penguin's picture) but it made no difference. I set up an old Redex capilliary type gauge and hey presto, correct readings, so that's going to be mounted in a bracket under the original one when I have a bit of spare time

Welcome! I bet you haven't got as many ADO16's as Keef!
Please feel free to start a thread about them.

Welcome! I believe the LOCI do most parts at reasonable prices, also I've used a UK company called Earlpart before and have had good service from them. You may find if it's been standing for a few years the suspension may have collapsed, usually it's either the pipes or displacers, both of which are available from the Landcrab Club. As has been said the engine is mostly standard MGB stuff. Good luck!

Thanks, Merry Christmas to you too W1800! The reason I'm using T-cut is because a few weeks ago when I was out in my A35 an old boy came up to the window and asked me if I wanted the contents of his garage as he'd given up driving and had no need for any of it anymore. Among the contents were six bottles of T-cut so I've been using that. Can't resist a bargain Haven't done much on the 'Crab recently, yesterday I changed the air filter as the old one was absolutely filthy and it actually seems to run better now! I won a NOS one on Ebay for 99p, bargain! Tomorrow we're taking it to North Essex on a Chrimbo run, probably the longest run it's done for 20 years!

That is lovely! Welcome to the forum, and I look forward to hearing more about your Maxi. Limeflower is a very underrated colour in my opinion. LPU = local reg, supplied new by SMAC's in Southend by any chance?
