Alexander - I like your idea about keeping them in pairs, I think I'm trying for the full collection. Keeping my eyes peeled for a Mk2 landcrab and a Mk1 1100 but I think I may already be pushing my luck with the missus. Having said that, there is a rather tempting Ambassador on ebay at the moment.... It wasn't really on purpose - let's say it just happened. My Maxis are only a few vehicles apart and are the same apart from the colour in- and out. If I count all Hydro-suspended cars in the family, they are 4 ADO16, 2 ADO17, 2 ADO14 and 2 ADO61 (all even numbers - how odd!). My last purchase - my beautiful Innocenti IM3 - was pushed a bit by the Mrs. - call me lucky (one of the ADO16s is hers) Regards, Alexander

Nice collection - sensible choices, I'm sure the Mrs. will fully appriciate this one day. Also a nice idea of not having them in pairs like I do (2x 1980 Maxi 1750, 2x Austin 3litre de luxe auto) - they definately don't breed!

Alexander

That would be Neil Kidby's address. But I have not been in touch with him since 2005 - when I bought his last original power steering repair kit, to get mine into shape for the Austin centenary cavalcade Regards, Alexander PS: I'd be more up to having the Downton tuned 3litre as I prefer an inline 6 to the raw nature of a V8.

I have fitted one of these units to my Austin 3 litre (22D6) and one to my other half's VP 1300. Right now I am quite impressed regarding value for money, particular compared to the horrible quality of some of the contact sets I bought recently.
Regards and a happy 2011,
Alexander

Hello all!
I've just been tipped off towards this new place...
There has always been at least one 1800 in my life. Currently there are one 1800, two 3litre and two Maxis within my stable. The old family workhorse - an 1800 S - is also with us, since nearly 40 years now!
I might even know some of you here either from meets in England or from other places on the internet.
Regards,
Alexander
