Glad to see it's moving fwd as well! Takes me back...! It's a lot of money but doesn't seem a lot to paint a car properly - particularly if the chap's good. Are you going to change the colour or keep it the same? If changing I reckon British Racing Green could look pretty cool!

Hi Guys Thanks for the comments, hopefully my knee issue won't get in the way, i just have to plan a bit more i.e. get everything to hand when lying down to stop having to get up numerous times when you need something. I also have made a stool which allows me to sit when doing welding at knee level stopping me from kneeling down, all should help. I know painting is an art (excuse the pun) and i want it right, the guy i use is excellent so should be good when done. I will keep plodding on, i can see the light at the end of the welding tunnel so shouldn't be long now. I am going to keep the colour, as it is meant to be British racing green already, but there are quite a few different shades i believe. I will post some more pics next week as i am a biot further on than the photos suggest. Cheers Paul

It's looking good, well done! Back on the road for the start of the good weather? Do you have details of the oil resistant shrink tubing, supplier, dimensions, price? I think there are a few people in Australia looking for an effective solution to the oil drips.
regards
David
