I agree Andrew, would love to have some supply of both 2200s and Rostyles up here too:-)
I believe Rover P6 Rostyles fit, but they don't exactly grow on trees here either. If they come up for sale they are expensive..

The expensive ones tend to be the chrome finish wheels used on the Rover P5. Absolute 'mare to get reconditioned properly. Anything to do with chrome plating is expensive these days.
The 2200 is a bit of a conundrum. It's lighter than a "B", it runs like a turbine but drinks like a fish. Indy, if you really want one, an early Princess is your best route. Trouble was that replacing the "B" in some cars just involved dropping in the Buick V8 (which was also lighter than a "B" engine), not really an option on the 'Crab. The SD1 had the supposed Triumph six engines fitted - again, the V8 dropped in easily, and other BL cars as well. They could even replace the "C" series with it as well. There was a prototype "Wolseley" 3 litre built with the V8 in it which was supposed to be some machine.
Strange to relate, I have an email in my in-box at the moment asking whether or not the Wolseley Six 2200 can be adapted to produce 150bhp, instead of 110bhp. I really have no idea what to say to the fella. The "E" engine seems to have been a development dead-end in 4 and 6 pot guises. I suppose I could point him at the Oz P76 site....

Yeah, I doubt I'd ever own a Six, as you have mentioned in the past they drink like a fish. If they're going to drink as much as a Wolseley 6/110 or Jaguar XJ6, I might as well own one those.
150BHP from the E series? that sounds like wishful thinking to me.

The Australians did fit a V8 (Rover /Buick) engine into a Landcrab but not without some difficulty. If you are a member of the excellent Austineighteenhundred website here you will find details in the July 2014 newsletter. The problem with the 2200 engine is that the block was made short to fit sideways. However, this was at the expense of proper water cooling between cylinders and any attempt to get more power is likely to lead to overheating. As it was developed from the Maxi "E" series engine this has similar tuning limitations. As you say it runs like a turbine but is very thirsty and it actually has less low down torque than the 1800 so will easily be embarrassed by an Austin 1800S in real world driving. About 100-110PS can reliably extracted from a Maxi 1750. So I suppose 130-150 should be possible on the six - a crank from the Australian 2.6 litre version could help though... Downton made a kit for the Austin 2200, I have a report somewhere. I think it was about 135bhp. Interestingly the Maxi is rather frugal, so I suppose with the correct tweaks the 2200 does not need to be thirsty - although I cannot imagine it drinks as good as the real thing (the 3 litre of course)...

The only downside I can think of is that the colour is not original. It is noticeably less bright and striking than original 'Reynard' metallic - but possibly others would not notice it too much, but for me as owner of an original car in the same colour I find it very noticeabl... He said it was bought by someone who wanted to run around in it over the summer and then move it on. This is Roland Knighton,s old car Nick he is the chap that now owns the Mirage Grey Wolseley six that was at the National. He sold this car 3 weeks before the National, he told me he thought the chap was a dealer but wouldn,t admit to it. The story is Roland bought the car from a chap in Birmingham who in turn had got it for his daughter to use whilst at university, however after having a new dynamo etc, etc, to make sure the car was 100%, she found that due to her height or lack of it she couldn,t reach the pedals very well.
