How come they keep cropping up in this colour. Probably needs closer inspection to see if it's worth the outlay. Nick eBay Here

Six for breaking in Uxbridge. EBAY HERE. Might help Keef with his Six - moderately local. Doesn't look all that bad, TBH. Chris.

^ ^ ^ car above is the Docklands one again, obviously worth more as bits; and beyond saving. Here's another repeat. Has an MOT for a year so may be worth it but I suspect there would be quite a lot to do to make it nice, not least the interior. Many more pictures than when it was last listed. Nick eBay HERE

This is a really odd one. A spares or restoration Austin Maxi 1750. Not that unusual in itself you would say but what drew me to this was the 'H' registration plate which for those outside the UK means no later than July 1970. According to the DVLA this one was registered in February of that year which is a clear eight months before the Maxi relaunch and the 1750 engine. My Glass's Guide for registration marks put BLF as from a series of re-registrations for Central London. I wonder what story this car has to tell? Nick HERE

eBay HERELooks like it's fit for parts only. Are those eggs in the rear footwell? I can see another Landcrab in the background in a couple of the photos. Nick

LOL, I actually thought of posting a comment about this being a project for you, Chris, as you now are seeing the end of the welding on the Austin! Also, you seem to have no end of marvellous welding skills.
In the end I decided I wouldn't be responsible for encouraging you to take it on:-) I could have ended up with an angry Mrs P on my door..
Oh dear, it sure looks disgusting. The engine could be great though, being a Gold seal unit. However, I wouldn't have entered that cabin without complete, air tight body protection and a gas mask!
Regards, Tommy
