The 1800 seemed to be of a transitional period in car history - kind of Mid-Century-Modern. I've never owned a British car before (and anyway this one was put together in Sydney.) Yet my Dad had one (he learned to drive in an Austin 7, had a series of Allegros, Metro, Maestro and reckoned his Rover 200 was the bees knees. Attachments:
