Fascinating that the ad states NO SOLICITORS. I believe that means no salesmen in the US. In the UK the term solicitor is the common term for lawyer; I won't bore you with the all UK legal terminology. However, at that price it may be advisable not to sell to a lawyer! We forget how many UK cars went to America post-war - "Export or die" I think was the slogan. Nice to see that there are still "ordinary" survivors, not just the Triumph sports cars and Jaguar saloons.

I saw a video in which they described the post war (pre-Farina) Austin A40 as the most important UK car export. David We forget how many UK cars went to America post-war - "Export or die" I think was the slogan.
