While cleaning my transmission in my parts washer I flipped over and later found a part in the part washer. I'm not sure it even came out of it, there were some other parts in a bowl that fell over. Did this piece come out of the tranny? Found it, locating plate for the shift rods. Attachments:

I'm afraid the link is broken, Charly.

Not a transmission question, but a oil pump question. Are the internal parts of the Landcrab oil pump the same as the MGB oil pump and can be swapped? The external sure is different.

Not sure - unable to directly compare part numbers. The shaft and rotor were replaced by 12H 2225 (oil pump) as an assembly.

I believe the oil pump on Mk1 cars (all or early?) may be different to later vehicles and that is the reason you cannot change the camshaft in-situ (with Tommy's inner wing mod) on early cars. Whether the inners are the same I have no idea. Sorry not very helpful.
