Hi Looking for help fellas, my ute is fitted with 1800 S inlet manifold and twin SU's. I've had some work done recently, rust removed from windscreen frames and other various locations. The problem being my ute is fitted with a twin cable choke that locks at desired position in cab, just turn the knob and it locks. Some heavy handed panel beater has broken the locking feature. Is this twin cable choke a standard feature on 1800 S models or a mod made to my ute. I know Triumph Stags run a twin cable choke, the million dollar question, are they still available in the UK. Regards Simmo.

Rimmer Brothers have the twin choke cable for the Stag listed - DIAGRAM HERE. If you get really stuck, we have firms like SPEEDY CABLES who can offer a bespoke service. The twin carbs on my Wolseley were robbed from an MGB, so use a centre pull arrangement on the linkage, thus allowing for a single cable. Chris.
