Anyone from on here going to Brooklands this Sunday? Won't be there all day but def going for a few hours - with wife and mother in law (!!) - got to secure my place in heaven and sounds like it should be in a Les Dawson joke somewhere... Looking fwd to a brisk 200+ mile round trip. Car a different animal with slightly softer engine mounts - much nicer, less vibration.

TRIPLE AWARD FOR LANDCRABBERS AT TATTONMany thanks to everyone who went the extra mile (and in a few cases several hundreds of miles) to exhibit their Landcrabs at Tatton Park over the weekend – come sunshine, wind and rain! There were 11 cars on Saturday and 9 on Sunday with pretty much every model represented over the weekend, from an early Austin 1800 Mk1 through to a pair of rare Morris 2200s. Your efforts in putting on a great display for the public saw the LOCI stand awarded third place in the Highly Commended category – pretty impressive for our first time out at this event. It's not only the LOCI stand that won an award. Congratulations to Club Member Claire Serrell on winning the Show organisers' "Future Generation" trophy for classic enthusiast aged under 25, as well as the accolade for "Best Landcrab" NOW 85. Thanks also to the Wolseley Owners Club who were on the stand opposite and kept us all well fed and watered throughout the day!

LOCI NATIONAL RALLY 2015 - THORESBY PARK, OLLERTON, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE There was a huge turnout for the LOCI National Rally - so many in fact that it was more like sardines than Landcrabs! With a bit of re-organisation, a grand total of 27 cars were eventually packed on to the club pitch, with pretty much every variant made on display. It was certainly the biggest number of Morris-badged cars (7) at any event for many years. Well done everybody for putting on such a great show. Numerous other car clubs were displaying all around the show field too, making for an interesting and varied event, and having decent weather all day was a bonus! Many thanks to the Wolseley Owners Club who were on the stand next door and, once again, kept LOCI members fed and watered throughout the day.

LOCI AUTUMN RALLY - NORTH, 6TH SEPTEMBER 2015Many thanks to everyone who attended the LOCI Autumn Rally at the Ryedale Folk Museum in Hutton le Hole. Club members came from as far afield as Oxfordshire and Scotland to attend and thanks to your efforts we had a fantastic showing of 15 Landcrabs gently baking in the early September sunshine. Two rarities on display were a Ute and a LHD Mk1 Austin originally registered in the Czech Republic. As this is a multi-club event, there was also a great turn-out of Morris Minors and Minis, a brace of exotica and one Pink Panther, making for a total of just under 60 cars on the day. Thanks go to the Morris Minor Club's Yorvik branch and LOCI's Yorkshire rep Nina Hughes for organising a grand day out! Photos courtesy of Graham Hughes and Chris Chantrell.
