Speedometer Drive Cable.

Could someone describe the correct routing of the speedo cable please? The one in the red car has a clip around it, so is obviously meant to be clamped off somewhere along the run, but I don't remember where.......

I know for certain that the blue one's run is incorrect as it's looped over one fo the air filters.
