Hi All,
I'm restarting my stalled mk1 project in two weeks after purchasing a running replacement engine and gearbox recently. I want to replace the metal fuel line that runs under the car from the pump to the carb, but so far have drawn a blank as to what to use. I'm pretty sure that you're not allowed rubber fuel line underneath the car and copper is a no no due to the possibility of it becoming brittle. Any suggestions?

I used cunifer brake line on Eugenie and plan to do the same on the red one. I have short sections of rubber hose from the tank to the filter, from the filter to the pump, from the pump to the fuel line and from the line to the carbs; it's never been commented on at Mot time.
