Are these new master cylinders any good?

No idea, Tommy. Angled fluid chamber isn't right, anyway.

Mr Biff says that these are ⁵/₈" bore, which is correct. Being brand new must be good! Cheaper option is the Land Rover one - p/no 550732 but with straight fluid cup rather than an angled one. £10 a pop if you have a look around. That's often cheaper than a new seal kit!
