Interesting, Keith. I don't recall seeing the small brackets on the top of my doors - also you appear to have the brackets for the early type arm rests as well.
Chris.

I don't recall seeing the small brackets on the top of my doors Well none of my other doors appear to have them and I assume the Six panels won't fit with them in place, so ..... I know nothing about the arm rests; tell me more.

I know nothing about the arm rests; tell me more. The arm rests you're going to fit screw to two large plastic bushes in the door. The ones I intend to use screw to those aluminium brackets already screwed to the door. But you knew that really......... Chris.

But you knew that really......... Thanks. I haven't actually removed the Six covers yet, as I want to try and preserve the plastic weather protection so the cards don't end up a soggy mess like the 18/85 ones appear.

The six ones fix to a bracket which is fixed to the door if I remember rightly, take of the rest, and then the door panel slides over to reveal the bracket screws etc. as in the 4th pic. And that reminds me that doors are also on shopping list......does it ever end?

Nope - if it did, our wives would have us decorating, gardening, shopping....... The pursuit of excellence is half the fun, surely? Chris.

doors are also on shopping list You did remember that the doors in the last couple of pics are available at a very reasonable rate didn't you Ahctog1? My concern about the door trims is not their removal from the Six doors, but the replacement on the 18.85 ones. I think they must be longer and will necessitate the removal of the welded on brackets that allow the mounting of the door cappings (see pic 8 above).
