I believe that from left to right they are Body shell S 009941A = 4 door saloon Commission No 217S 9886A (1800 Mk11) Car Number AHS AD 16377A Austin 1800 MK11 (UK cars AHS A-101) perhaps the "D" indicates the market I think Tommy may have some additional info. Regards David

Can you read the engine number, I can't make it out on my monitor - or maybe it's my eyesight

Well, I'm no expert.. The parts lists say a bit about the different codes though. All obvious stuff, really. 4 doors etc...
Dave is correct. From left is body, commision (red and silver plate) and car (black and silver plate)numbers.
I believe the only decals fitted to an original mk 2 1800 are:
Austin, Morris or Wolseley rocker cover decal, Weslake patents decal also on rocker cover and Coopers air filter decal, fitted to the air filter box. Then Lucas HA 12 coil decal perhaps.
Mk 2 cars would have been positive earth. I've also fitted a negative earth decal to my mk 2 after converting. I believe the silver one with black writing would be correct for an 1800.
All decals are easily found on ebay
Good luck!
Tommy

Had a look at all my reference sources. The AD in the car number is almost certainly 11th series Austin (not quite sure what this means) De luxe spec though I would also expect to see an L for left hand drive. The serial number if it ties in with UK data I have points towards 1968.
