I have just joined this forum, but I think most of you will recognise my Wolseley 18/85S. I have owned my Wolseley since 1984 and like to use it for traveleling to the UK and once in a while I tow my Little Austin Seven Special on the trailer. I'm overseas member no2 of Loci and a member of the Dutch Austin Morris Riley Wolseley Register ( AMRWR.nl) and the Wolseley Owners club and forum. The Wolseley gets not as much use as it would like, but that's because through the years I have been distracted by other cars too, like Jeeps, other Austins, Mg's, Morris Minor and another Wolseley, a Ten from 1939. Our "Rusty" collection also preserves Ian Ingram's old Mk1 Rally car. I thought of getting this one back on the road, but it will need extensive work to get it there and I'm afraid that might change the spirit of the car, so for now it's a "static". It also seems my interest veers towards older cars nowadays, but the Wolseley 18/85 is here to stay until the very end of my driving career and I always keep it in a driveable condition, so I can hop in and enjoy a drive when I feel like it. If you like you can see more on my Rusty daytrips weblog. The Wolseley on holiday in the UK Towing the Austin Seven toy car

Hi Chris Welcome to the forum. I have read your articles with interest in the LOCI magazine over the years and I believe you know some members here already. It's good to see the late Ian Ingram's rally car is still around. Thanks for the link to your website. best wishes David I have just joined this forum, but I think most of you will recognise my Wolseley 18/85S. Hello Chris, Good to see you in this forum. Like David I have enjoyed reading your Windmilling articles in the LOCI magazine. I think I met your friend who rescued the 18/85 at the BL Rally at Peterborough this summer. He had a good look at my 18/85 and took some pictures of the interior to compare to the one he had just helped to save. He said he had come over from the Netherlands in a Montego estate.

Yes, That's P. Trying to get him to join Loci. Just like A. did with her 1965 Persian Blue Austin. Thanks all for your kind words about Windmilling.
