Just got my BL Special Tuning World Cup Rally Team Thailand landcrab DBC33K MOT'd so that now taxed and can have a bit of fun with it, along with my Triumph 2500 and 2.5PI estates. I did the work because someone wanted to buy it but have just found that the b****** has decided to not proceed with the purchase ...... and after making the decision 10 days ago he could not be bothered to tell me. NOT amused. Still will have a bit of fun while I find another buyer because I want to put the money into sorting my other Landcrab NAM616G which did the '68 London to Sydney, '69 Monte, '69 Rally du Maroque, 1970 London to Mexico World Cup Rally, and half of the 1971 British Rally Championship. Needs a major restoration and LONG overdue. I'll post if any progress on sale of the Team Thailand car and then the rebuild of NAM Ted

Hello Ted, I did wonder if you were ever going to post! Glad you've decided to join in, so welcome aboard. It's always a bit of a s@d when people don't keep their word, especially when you put in plenty of hard work. Dave1800 will probably be along in a while and will want to know all about DBC, as he's still out in Thailand (possibly still looking for the remains of DBC.... ). Pictures and stories are more than welcome, so when you have time........! Chris.

Hi Ted Good to see you here! It would have been nice if I could have been given a concession to bring the Team Thailand car here but with the duty and tax the total bill would have been around £100,000. In fact shortly after we last exchanged emails, there was a total ban on the import of all second hand vehicles and this is still in place, so the timing was bad. Have you considered the auction route? regards David Just got my BL Special Tuning World Cup Rally Team Thailand landcrab DBC33K MOT'd so that now taxed and can have a bit of fun with it, along with my Triumph 2500 and 2.5PI estates.
