Great set of pictures, good selection of mk1s too. That picture looks like someone has engineered a Wolseley facia underneath the Austin original. I'd say that's a bit odd.

You are quite right, Nick - Wolseley Six dash finagled into place. I didn't manage to get a shot of the whole car, but it was quite peculiar. Engine bay painted silver, car itself in a very strange blue and the whole thing looked like she'll need some love fairly soon. Still, legal, running, they all count. The 18/85 "SCX" was on its first outing since being recommissioned - not quite a barn find and is a very nice car. No welding, but a really thorough clean and polish was involved. The Jordan brothers have helped to get her up and running again. "BHR" was also on its first run out. One owner car with little use; it runs nicely but will be a bit of a rolling restoration. "KOW" is Nina's car and at a glance looked splendid in its new paintwork. The nearside is a bit of a disaster when you look more closely. The paint appears to have a bloom effect (Which I thought was pretty much impossible with 2K paint), so it's going back next week. "DOE" was the LOCI car of the day. It's been re-painted and has a beautiful new interior. Penny was working, so Laurie (Dad) drove it up to Hutton and enjoyed the ride. Not bad for a dedicated Jag owner. The Morris Major in the second set of pictures is a stunning car, BTW. I really don't know a lot about the pre-war stuff, but it really was a beautiful car. Chris.
