Greetings from Leicestershire I recently took over ownership of a 1970 Wolseley 18/85 MkII manual. Some of you may have already read about it over on the Wolseley forum. It took me quite a long on and off search to get one that I wanted but I am so glad I did. I have only done a few miles in it so far but i am amazed at the number of people in the streets who turn their heads as it goes by. I guess it must be something to do with seeing an old car out of context. There were Landcrabs in my family many years ago. Between my father and me we are trying to work out how many my Grandpa had. It was either two or three between mid sixties and about 1974 (Austin & Morris 1800s). If he were still alive he would be able to join the debate on this forum over which was best Mk1,2 or 3 and also throw auto and manual into the debate as he had both. I don't really remember his 1800s as I was only about five or six years old when he moved on to something else. However something must have rubbed off on me to want one now. Looking forward to sharing the Landcrab experience on this forum Nick (I used Nick RS as my identifier based on my name on another site. Looks a bit odd here though as 'nickrs' hey-ho ) Attachments:
