Heated rear windows, what will they think of next? My Mk1 morris is innocent of such fripperies.
To get back to the original question. Obviously the Mk1 must be the best car to own. Unless it has one of the exciting early steering racks that require more turns than a politician.
I owned one a few years back and it was a challenge round tight bends.
Issigonis wasn't schooled in ergonomics, I expect that the switches were easier to reach before seatbelts began to be fitted.
My Morris is probably my favourite car, I started on Mini's and it behaves like a super Mini.
Regards Kels.

Agree about the seats - superbly comfortable.
No heated rear screen on my car, but still little margin for error with the dynamo.

How do you guys manage without a heated rear windscreen? It's a long stretch to the rear window. I remember fitting that aluminium foil type from Halfords to my Mk1 car it didn't look pretty but at least I could see what was behind. I'm not sure if anyone still makes a conversion kit, nothing came up on Google.

No heated rear window here, granted we don't get frost here in Auckland. Might look at one if we move.

Thats what a raw potao is for, cut in half and applied to the rear window. 1960s car, 1960 remedy. OK I have never used this particular remedy. I use the door mirrors, or get the wife to apply a cloth to the glass.
Still don't have a view of the best Landcrab from someone who has owned all types?
