Hi I have been doing some work in the boot of the Morris, i am trying to find out what should fit over the access holes to the rear of the lights, when i got it had carpet stuck to it with press studs and a bit of a mess. If anyone could help with a picture or if you have what ever should be there for sale i would appreciate it hope that makes sense. Please see pic below Cheers Paul

Here's what I did with mine. The holes are for "Spire" clips. Looks quite tidy. Chris.

Hi Chris Thanks for that, thats what i was thinking of doing or something similar, i was hoping that i could put it back to how it should be from factory, but i could do with a pattern, hopefully going to NEC on the 17th. Perhaps the cars on the crab stand will have the originals. Paul

I've been through the body parts listing and the panels aren't even listed. Have you got the corner pieces? These aren't in the listing either....... Chris.

These have only been fitted to earlier Mk2 cars. My father's 1970 1800 S does not have them anymore. From the factory the our Austin 1800 S came with a grey vinyl covering for floor and side-walls. In the second picture from Chris, where he shows the open flap, you can see a press stud above the opening. This is where in my father's car the side trim was held to be released to access the cavity. I think it was glued in place everywhere else.
Regards,
Alexander
