Hi all I see Maniflow have an extensive website. Again new to me They do offer the Downton style 3 litre triple SU fabricated steel inlet manifolds and excellent looking extractors so that’s a good start. I understand they have a very good reputation. I emailed to Neil Kidby and he indicated that Maniflow may still have the jigs for the Downton 3 litre exhaust system also. They have lots of nice 1800 stuff as well. Will need to start saving as beyond my $ ability at present. www.maniflow.co.uk/index.php?view=product&from=162&product=1440Regards John.

Nice spot, John. It was a spin-off from the University Motors update on the last MGCs. They figured out how to make the MGC into a useable car.
Yup, some nice 'Crab bits as well - LCB manifold is particularly appealing.......

Good timing on the thread as I was just wondering about exhaust systems as I need a new one on mine.
I'll keep my current manifold for the time being but replace the rest of the system and down the line with a new engine I might get an 'S'/MGB type manifold.
Would that effect the exhaust note?

I imagine it will sound like a very nicely warmed over MGB ..nothing wrong with that!
