Is it bad luck or is Earlpart extremely slow when it comes to answering emails?
Any others with this experience?
Regards, Tommy

Don't know, my father used to order via phone or fax... Not very recently, but service was OK.

I have used them a couple of times and they seemed very good although I phoned my orders in. Initial contact was made by email and I got a call back from them quickly. Quite a lot of stuff on their lists was no longer available though.
I went to the premises as they arent too far from me and there is lots of old BL stuff lying around to look at. I cant see why they wouldnt reply to emails, in their offices there were 3 blokes in a small row of computers listing ebay items when i went so they ought to be replying. Maybe they arent receiving the mail?

They replied today:-) They sure list a lot of spares in their catalogue.. I want to get a standard camshaft for another engine I'm planning to rebuild in the future, for my spares car. However, they were not able to supply this, even though it's in their catalogue.
So I guess this engine will be MGB spec with a standard MGB cam.
Regards, Tommy:-)

Oh no Tommy not camshafts again! Seriously I would be careful about reprofiled camshafts and look at specialist manufacturers eg Piper to see what they can offer. Perhaps your "friend" Peter Burgess can advise. There are some horrible reprofiled cams out there, not saying that is the case here.
