Hi all, have just found this great forum! I am into Austin 3 litres, and am on the look out for one to buy, I know they are very rare, have been keeping an eye out but no joy, have owned a few in the past, I think I would prefer a project, but I don't mind if it's in very good condition, gives me something to do! if anybody knows of one please let me know, thanks.

I don't know, coming in here with your in-line engine and wrong wheel drive..... If it wasn't for the hydrolastics we wouldn't even talk to you. ;D
Actually, I love them and one day will find myself a nice project. After the kids have got through university and left home, probably. And I've funded their first cars. And re-built them. And probably insured the little blighters as well, so this is a while off yet.
Like the 'Crab, I think that they are so damn ugly that they have a style of their own. I also have this mild hankering to reproduce the Wolseley V8 prototype. An interesting project. 8/130 anyone?
Chris.

Welcome mate, good luck with the search, if you wait and keep looking one will pop up As for Chris's post, crack up lol. You so have to make that V8 Wolseley mate.....not an option! As for myself, I will keep my eyes peeled for the holy grail, a Wolseley 18-22.....ugly as sin but I love them! -Andrew

Welcome!
Now. 3litres do only look a bit like Landcrabs, on all other respects they are quite different. I should know, as I have two of them...

I hate to disillusion you but by the time you have got the time and money for yourself in say ten years or so, if you are like me the energy levels will be running a bit lower and the body doesn't take so kindly to being abused by lying for hours in contorted positions without payback for the next day or three. It's good to dream though! Regards David I don't know, coming in here with your in-line engine and wrong wheel drive.....
