Michael Sanchez, the editor of the LOCI magazine, is looking for contributions for this quarter's magazine. I certainly do not envy him this task as it means a lot of chasing, persuading and reminding to meet his tight publication schedules. There are a number of interesting threads on this forum which I would guess have never been seen by quite a proportion of LOCI members. While you may argue that is their own fault, I personally think it would be nice to encourage them to join this forum and share their cumulative wisdom. We could achieve this by making contributions for Michael incorporating reference to this forum and appropriate links to threads. You can of course write about your own experiences, whether as a novice or old hand, not related to the threads here. If you would like to contribute, the closing date is around 20th February. The article can be any size from say half a page of A5 to 1.5 pages A5 (ie not an onerous ask) and photos can be helpful but not essential. Michael's contact details are in the magazine and LOCI website www.landcrab.net/mainframes/main_clubcontacts.htmor you can PM me if you wish to discuss anything. Sorry for the tightish deadline. Thanks in anticipation David

My copy hasn't arrived yet but it takes 10 -20 days; nothing on the website members area either - usually the pdf is available at the same time the magazines are sent out. You're famous now (well almost)! Scary seeing my words and 'crab in print! -Andrew

It's that time again and Michael Sanchez is looking for contributions for the next edition of the LOCI magazine due out in early June. The deadline is 26th May but he would prefer articles around 21st May if possible.
I am thinking of doing an article incorporating a synopsis of some of the posts from this forum, with suitable acknowledgements. LOCI are of course trying to promote their own section of the Wolseley forum which I know some of you read and make contributions to already. I don't see a conflict but if anyone has objections or would prefer I don't use their contributions to this site, please PM me or open the discussion here.
I do have a reserve article if needed. Regards
David

I've decided to write something else this time, will do the forum for the Autumn edition as I need time to do it justice and have had a few unexpected issues here that are taking all my time at the moment. There's lots of good stuff here. An article would be good if you can manage it, thanks.
Regards
David
