In the time I did not own my 18/85, the last owner got the wipers 'fixed'. What really happened is that his mechanic did bodge job or turning the wiper system into a 'cross-over' type if you follow me.

So now I want to change it back. P45 has mentioned that the wheel box would have been replaced with another to reverse the wiper.

What can I do? I'm guessing I need another wheelbox. Are there plenty around? will one work from a similar car or perhaps mini or MGB etc?

Damn annoying, but not the end of the world
