Hi all, finally getting ready to install a new internally regulated alternator. What do I do with wiring from old external regulator . 1968 Austin 1800 Mk2. Many thanks.

All sorted, gutted the old one, plugged wires back in and working perfectly.

Good news. I've never seen a BMC car with an external voltage regulator on an alternator in the UK but spotted a mechanically adjustable version on a Toyota a few years ago.
