Hello my name is Rob Menard. Here is little about me and one of the reasons I have come here.
I bought my 1968 Austin 1800 mkii back in 1987 and had it up until 2017 when due to unfortunate circumstances beyond my control it was taken from my driveway. I hope to find someone In Canada or possibly from ocerseas who has a reasonable car I could eventually purchase.
I am a 55 year old Mechanic living in the center of Canada in the province of Manitoba in Canada's 7th largest city Winnipeg. I have had Austin's since before I legally could drive. My first car was a 1966 mk I 1100 super deluxe manual trans. I also had a 1967 1100 mk I automatic and a 1970 1100 with the feux wood fascia. BMC's hydrolastic cars have always been in my life they while some say are far from perfect always seemed the perfect car for me. I love the ride handling and style of the ado 15,16, and 17 models.

Welcome along, Rob.
Sorry to hear of the theft, always a rather sickening thing losing something you love.
We do have a few NA members on here, so perhaps they will see this and keep an eye out for you.
Enjoy,
Chris.

Hello Rob, and welcome to the fold. My advice is, keep an eye on the classic car press, and join LOCI, the Landcrab owners club international. There are often cars for sale, and once in contact, you might be surprised at what turns up.
I'm sure you'll find one, and you can rely on plenty of support here.
Jeff
