Hi y'all.
The progressive accelerator cable linkage on the single carb Mk1 appears unique and probably isn't made by SU. Does anybody know where I could get the tiny nylon bushes from, that fit on the connecting rod? Tony Wood is also looking into it.
Thanks
Jeff

Not much info out there, Jeff. Carburettor Linkage by Penguin 45, on Flickr SOMERFORD MINI have AUD2884 listed, otherwise it looks like it was supplied as an assembly. I think I've got a spare carb in the garage; I'll go and have a look later. C.

Chris manufactured the Throttle link bush parts for me out of brass, they came today and are a perfect fit. Dead easy to fit apart from the old starlock washer that holds it all together that was split and I don't have a spare so I did a temporary improvisation until get some washers. Also a good opportunity to give a tiny drop of oil on all the carburettor links and cam.
It's a great fix and the accelerator pedal now has a much nicer feel. Well done Chris and thanks.
