Hi everyone,

I’ve introduced myself previously on the new members section - it’s looking like I’ll be ending up with a ‘crab or two. Can anyone recommend somewhere or someone near Colchester to check one over before I drive it home? I should think within the next month at some point, it should only need brakes checking and carb cleaning - nothing too big.

I don't know of any members in the Colchester area except for the PO. A bit of sniffing about suggests that Lee Scott Classic Car Restorations have a decent reputation. Perhaps a phone call and a chat might be the way forward.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for that - I’ll give them a ring tomorrow. It’d be nice to drive it back rather than try and rent something!
