Just so ya know, in case you don't. 1/4in bore diameter, fuel hose WON'T fit the 8mm tails on Hardi or SU fuel pump, or the tank outlet without a struggle and having to stretch it too much.
I found this out when fitting a Hardi pump and an inline filter, tank to pump.
A far better option is to buy a length of 8mm or 5/16in in old money. Make sure its proper braided E10 compliant and as said by Chris in an earlier post use the correct fuel clips. I'm not averse to using stainless steel Jubilee clips but they must be of the correct size to avoid distortion. Personally, I'm not a fan of the original ring type spring clamps.
You can of course buy external metal braided pipe and rubber end caps if you really want but as it's tucked out of sight, I saved that option for the under bonnet fuel line leading from steel pipe to carburettor.
