This is very much a shot in the dark. I am looking for some information that is specific to a Woodhall Nicholson conversion of a landcrab. I have found pictures of 3 others on the net. To be able answer my question you will need to have access to one of the survivors to look at something that is particular to this conversion, and relates to Woodhall Nicholsons body identification series. If anyone has one, either running, in bits, or rotting away somewhere you could be able to help. Pretty slim chance I know but worth a shot.

Paddy Gordon has a limo. Contact LOCI and ask to be put in touch as he is not a member here.
And, neither are you - please take the five minutes needed to create an account.

Hi John,
I've had a quick peek in "Search" and there are quite few references and pics of various limousines going back over the years. How helpful that would be to what you need to know I can't say, but may give you some idea of what's out there. I used "limo" as the key word.
Chris.

Hi Chris, I may have solved the mystery now. It is all about how British Leyland & Woodhall Nicholson gave body / I.D numbers and their format. My limo was reimported back into the U.K from the USA, on import it was wrongly registered and had a I.D number that everybody said wasnt original or valid. After hours and hours of research I found the answer. I just needed another owner of a Woodhall Nicholson build to confirm my theory by looking at their serial number. Now managed to find it in the BMIHT archive and a certificate is on its way. Next stage is to get into a no doubt protracted exchange with DVLA to get the V5C amended and maybe a correct suffix number. I do however extend my thanks to you for taking the time to try to help with this query, it IS very much appreciated. By the way, most of the pics in the search are of mine.....

Ah... That one. If you were to join the Wolseley Forum (.com) there are several build threads from perhaps 10 years ago about that car. It's a fascinating and at times tragic story. Chris.
