Hi, I joined this forum about 6 years ago as my father was having problems finding a part for his Austin 1800. Unfortunately, he passed away last December so I am now the custodian of his 1800. I took it to the Stonham Barns Classic Car Show last August as we had planned to go together in the 1800 as we missed it last year due to his health. I brought it home last month and have started working my way through it as it hasn't been used much for the last few years because of Covid etc. There's quite a few perished and split rubber gaiters etc, a worn steering rack and quite a few electrical problems. I've also got to find a few missing pieces such as the ash tray and a jacking point rubber but apart from that it is in pretty good nick.
Regards
Nige

Welcome back, Nige. Sorry to hear of your Father's passing. I lost Mum last year and it is a difficult time. Tony Wood is the spares guru. spareathought@landcrab.net will get you in touch with the owner of The Emporium; truly a palace of many glittering delights. Chris.
