Hello all,
Glad to be a new member of this forum.
I've had 4 'crabs over the years. The first two in my 20s - a 1970 Morris followed by a 1971 Austin.
20+ years later I accidentally bought a 1968 Mk1 Austin on ebay (I know, I know...) but it became a reliable daily driver for my 40 miles each way commute.
In 2019 I upgraded to my present 1970 Morris 1800S which turned out to need a fair amount of mechanical work; fortunately the body is in very good nick!
Now very happily enjoying driving this fantastic car.
Over the years I've been fortunate to own or drive many nice motors - but without hesitation, the landcrab is the one that makes me smile the most.

Welcome to the forum! If you have any questions we will try our best to provide answers and it would be good to see photos of your car in due course.
I am still bemused that you managed to buy a MK1 car on Ebay by accident it sounds like the basis for an interesting story.
I think your last comment ".....but without hesitation, the landcrab is the one that makes me smile the most...." is the reason many people become hooked and come back to them - something that never seems to be understood by those who have never driven them.

Hi Mac, welcome aboard.
Familiar sounding elements there - I owned a Morris MkIII in my twenties. Came back to the cars in 2004 - some years later! Only ever bought one car on eBay, a SAAB 99, which served me for quite a few years. There was beer involved, I admit it. MrsP wasn't best pleased.
Pics when you can, we all love pics. The site has very limited capacity for storing photographs, so linking from a hosting site is the best way.
Enjoy,
Chris.
