After checking the oil pump cylinder and rotor on my MK 2 1800, I have found some minor scoring on both.
As I hope this will be the last time I pull the power unit out (at least for a long while) I wish to replace the pump.
My question is this. Is the MGB oil pump suitable, I know the end plate differs, but can I place my end plate, which is good knick, on a MG pump.
