hello where i can buy new gearcables for 1800 or new seals onthe gearbox becous all my engine oil leaking from gear cable seals

if you use the search function for gear change cables you will find a number of approaches to sealing the cables.

Tony has all the seals. Early type are o rings. Later ones are full seals, 6 in all. They are a bit fiddly to replace and make sure the seal flared lips are facing towards gearbox end of cables or they will leak. Tony also has the correct size heat shrink tubing to re cover the cables. This has to be fitted from the gear lever end of the cables so they will have to be disconnected from the control box. You will probably have to reset the adjustment when it's all back in the car unless you can try not to disturb the nut positions too much. Good luck.

I've done mine with shrink fit casing made for buried electrical wires. Its tacky inside to make a seal. I also doubled it up at the ends too make a clllar to exert more pressure. Been working for several years.
