In all honesty that doesn’t sound good. Could be piston rings or a crack in the head or block which would mean a strip down and rebuild
Is the oil in every cylinder?
If it is, there is a small possibility that it’s got a thin modern synthetic oil in that’s working it’s way passed the piston rings when under pressure If there was a crack I would expect the oil to be in one or two cylinders.

thanks snoopy yes there is oil in all 4 cylinders ill drain the oil and refill it. the oil in car is possibly very old and needs changing anyway. but I dought it the synthetic oil problem because it was running and driving then all of a sudden it was like a steam train. I put the car in the shed and checked the oil and it just on full. my pops coming tonight and we will look over the engine and if necessary we ill strip and rebuild the engine.

The fact it is in all cylinders suggest it may be possible that the previous owner added the oil down the plug holes to prevent corrosion while standing. How long did you run the engine? It should have burned off quite quickly if that is the case.
You could take out the plugs and spin the engine on the starter to blow out the oil, taking care to catch it with rags.
