The valves and valve guides of the cylinder head of my Morris are very worn, so the head is in need of reconditioning. I have a spare head in reasonable condition, but this also needs new valves and guides. It is not lead free, and it may also need skimming. Checking the possibilities, I found that a new head is available. This has the benefit of having hardened exhaust valve seats for lead free petrol. So I decided that a new head would be a much easier solution, and probably not much more expensive. I have just received the new cylinder head, and it looks very good. The very reasonable price was £ 455 including shipping to Denmark. I am now waiting for warmer weather to install it. Peter 2 by Peter Laursen, on Flickr 1 by Peter Laursen, on Flickr

Free shipping to Denmark sounds good. I see Peter Burgess is no longer selling new standard cylinder heads.
