Finally back on with this. I have to say a big "Thank you" to John, the car's owner, for his patience. A few of you may know that life and health have conspired against me over the last few months and curtailed a lot of my activities.
We left the n/s/f door waiting for a fill and some paint. This did get done, although I have no pics of this exciting process. Sufficed to say, the door is back on the car and looks quite decent.

On with the next one in the pile - the off side rear. It looked quite decent at first glance; a few scabs on the dor outer but not bad. Then I laid it on the bench....

OK, that's going to be fun. Took off the bottom 3" of door skin to reveal:

Well, it's all got to go....... We'll do the big bit first and the fiddy ones afterwards.

Repair section folded up and drilled - the door seal channel will have to be moved across.

New bracket for the window glass stop attached.

Bottom after first flat back. Door seal channel plug welded through from the top.
Pleased with that. Fiddly corner bits and door skin tomorrow.
