Some of you may be surprised by the results of this comparison of the importance of ignition timing as compared to the fuel mixture in this video when looking at power output. Here
You can jump to 2 mins 30 secs on the video to just see the results. Although this was done on a fuel injected Honda there is no reason to believe a similar result would not be obtained with a crab engine - although probably needing to shift the air fuel ratios lower ( ie a greater % age of fuel : air ).
