Several months ago I purchased a new rear wing for my Mercedes. It arrived and seemed as stiff as a board, so I was expecting high grade steel from Germany. Got around to unpacking it just now, and all the stiffness was packaging cardboard. The wing itself is flimsy, unlike the steel used by Chris to repair Mo. A small section will be welded into the car on Tuesday/Wednesday. I only hope it is serviceable
As it is now. It is the only rust anywhere on the car (that I can see)

It can be disappointing, but some panels are made to be used in their entirety and some are repair panels. The latter tend to be sectioned up for localised repairs and are thinner to ease the problems of cutting and fitting.

Thanks Chris. Mind you if these repairs don't go to plan I think it will be me who is being sectioned!
