I am looking to fit wider wheels to my land crab and avoid in issues with rubbing etc.
With a fully charged suspension system does anyone know if the wheels still travel higher than the wheel arch? e.g. within the wheel well?
Thanks, Stuart.

Hi Stuart
Welcome to the forum.
You certainly can put wider wheels on the crab. There is a limit obviously without mods. My car has 185 65's on minilites that fit just fine. Minilites are a popular choice and transform the car. You can not avoid the wheels going into the arches no. When you say fully charged suspension it is not a good idea to go much higher than the recomended trim height!
There are a couple of things that won't help your clearance if you are having problems with this
1- The wheel rim offset. 2- The condition of the radius arm bearing as this can give camber issues.
Hope this helps.

Both! They look much better and handle better! In my humble opinion.
