Hi got a 68 late mk1 1800 with very very slow wipers.been picked up on the last two mot s
now this isn't a country that does nt get much rain.so I'm desperate for any ideas.suggestions
or even miracles on how to cure this..hope it is nt just a case of replacing the motor because
they seem as rare as world cup trophies our country has won.lol
any ideas pleaseeeee

I'm sure the clever clogs electrician will be along later and tell me I'm talking rubbish but my first job would be to clean up all the contacts before looking for the unobtainable

I agree with Snoopy clean all electrical connections. Failing that it probably wants pulling apart and cleaning and regreasing. Particularly the cable and mechanism that operates the blades.

Agree with all the comments. It is quite likely the grease has completely hardened so needs to be removed and repacked. Disconnect the drive from the motor to ensure the wiper gearboxes /cable haven't seized David I agree with Snoopy clean all electrical connections.
