I need to purchase a new battery for our 1973 Wolseley Six as it is about to go for MOT after 16 years off the road.
I have used a slave battery up to now which is too small and needs constant charging.
Looking for advise please.
What is the correct size in Amps I should be looking for?
What are the dimensions of the battery?
Is there a standard Battery Code?
Thanks in anticipation.
Rob.

Sorry for the delay, Rocket. I had to track down a Six owner.
The WM says to use a Lucas A11 or A13. I can't directly translate these into "modern" batteries. Ahctog1 of this parish tells me that he has a Yuasa HSB057 battery in his car. This is a 430 amp battery and delivers 48A/hr. It came with a 5 year warranty as well.
