Hi
I hope someone can help me with this. My 88 year old father still uses his 1972 Austin 1800 regularly but had an advisory at the last MOT about the inner driveshaft gaiter. We have tried to find a replacement but have had no luck yet. The nearest we have got is that Earlpart have said they may have some remanufactured in the future. I had a look at it a few weekends ago and it had split so I have managed to glue a temporary patch over the split so he can still use it without water etc. getting in but it won't pass it's MOT which is due at the beginning of February. So my question is does anyone know where I could get a replacement for him or is there some alternative I could use ?
Thanks in anticipation
Nige

Glad to hear it's a daily driver! Try Tony Wood - the spares gent for the Owners Club 01253 352730 or email him on awfylde@talktalk.net

Hi Nige. P/no 27H 8531. Also used on 11/1300 cars. Morris Minor Lager have them listed - HERE. AE Wilcox has one left - HERE. But - always try Tony first! Chris.
