Good luck with the Italian adventure. A Landcrab out there would be a real headturner no doubt. If I were living there I would be off searching for a twin cam Fiat 131 or 132 to scratch a long time itch of mine which is just about impossible to do here in the UK.

Very nice one family owned from new Morris 1800. Original and low mileage. Well worth a look and plenty of bids so far. HereNick

Here's a Morris 1800 for sale in N Ireland. Not sure about the offside rear arch area but it's hard to tell. Also, going to the trouble to take multiple photos, you would think a couple of interior shots might be useful. Not bad price though. Herethen there's this low mileage Six in a nice colour. This is a trade seller who seems to like his Landcrabs having offered quite a few in the last year or so. www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C756164Nick

Looks have you're having too interesting a time with brakes with this and the handbrake on the other one. Drifting off topic slightly, I visited a place where the RAC (or might have been AA) vans are prepared when they are new. The guys there showed me that they carry a space saver type spare wheel with about four different wheel centres that can cover every PCD and fitting on the market for all the cars that nowadays don't have spare wheels and need a tow to safety. It was the idea of one of the patrolmen; I wonder if he patented it.
Chris, hope you get it fixed soon.

Really cool picture Andrew, it makes me want to dust off by old SLR camera and lenses.

Interesting cars. I have ridden in a car in the US with passive seatbelts like that, part of it moved on electric motors when you turned in the ignition. More recently when I went there the hire car wouldn't start unless you had put on the standard type belt - far cheaper to install I would think. I can't imagine that the Montego engined car drives much like a Landcrab, different engine, gearbox (I assume) and suspension.

Oh dear, story to learn of that. Better there than on the way home though at speed.
We do seem to have heard of a few displaces going in the last couple of years. Hope you get it sorted soon.

There's an LHD Auto in crabmart in N. Ireland but you'll need to restore it first so probably not viable at this stage. Otherwise the most likely places for one to turn up will be Denmark, Sweden and possibly The Netherlands. Patience will no doubt be required with this one. As an interim I saw nice early Rover 75 LHD on autotrader the other day with a low asking price.
